Allocation: €67 million
Amount of support per project: EUR 50 000 – EUR 3 million
Aid intensity: up to 65 % depending on the type of enterprise and activity
- Energy savings of at least 30% (e.g. in buildings or technologies),
- installation of RES and batteries,
- intelligent consumption management systems.
- An energy audit is required at the time of project submission and implementation within 36 months.
The managing authority of the Slovakia Programme is the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic.
Eligible applicants may be micro, small, medium-sized and large enterprises, as well as entities that become competitors, irrespective of their legal form and method of financing. Projects may be implemented throughout Slovakia.
Technical eligibility conditions:
Renewable energy installations:
Capacity: 0.5 MW – 5 MW (inclusive)
Can only be one installation or system at one connection point
One project = one type of technology (e.g. PV only, not a combination of PV and biogas)
Must be connected to the distribution or transmission system in the Slovak Republic
Battery system:
Min. capacity: 0.05 MW (50 kW)
Min. capacity: 0.1 MWh (100 kWh)
Capacity ≥ capacity
Battery capacity must not exceed the capacity of the RES device
Battery must be able to take at least 75% of the energy from the RES device
Connection upstream of the transfer point and on the manufacturer’s side
How to apply for support from the call PSK-SIEA-008-2025-DV-EFRR - step by step
💡 The call supports the increase of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources (RES) in enterprises in Slovakia outside the Bratislava region. Funding is from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
- Procedure
1. Check if you qualify
- Are you a micro, small, medium or large enterprise?
- Do you work outside the Bratislava region?
- Have you completed one accounting year?
- Are you in arrears with the state?
- Have you been sanctioned for breaching the ban on illegal work?
2. Arrange an energy audit
- You must have an energy audit according to Act No. 321/2014 Coll. (the audit can also be internal if you have a competent energy engineer).
- The audit must identify measures that reduce energy consumption or increase the use of RES.
3. Choose specific measures
- Choose from the audit:
- e.g. insulation of the building, replacement of technology, installation of photovoltaics, battery storage, recuperation, new LED lighting, heat pumps, etc.
4. Prepare your budget and supporting documents
You'll need:
- Project plan (description, objective, measures, calculation of savings)
- Itemized budget (you can base it on a quotation, internal calculations or an expert's estimate)
- Building permit or notification, if required (for construction or renovation)
- Any consents from the property owner if you are not the owner
5. Fill in the application form in the ITMS2014+ system
- Use ITMS2014+
- The application shall include:
- identification data
- project description
- implementation schedule
- Budget
- annexes (audit, budget, permits where applicable)
6. Attach the required attachments
- Energy audit
- Project plan/description
- Profit and loss account (last 2 years)
- Extract from OR/ŽR
- Affidavits (call forms)
- Permits or consents (if necessary)
7. Apply electronically
- Qualified electronic signature (QES)
- Keep the acknowledgement of submission
- SIEA will then carry out a formal check and evaluation
8. Once approved, you sign the contract
- Once approved, you sign the NFA contract
- You can then start the project and claim reimbursement

Aid intensity (percentage of eligible expenditure):
- Small business: 65 %
- Medium-sized enterprise: 55 %
- Large enterprise: 45 %
